Wow, that was not a relaxing break at all.
First things first: The Automan’s Daughter is back, and will be updating on a fortnightly schedule (every other Friday) for the remainder of the chapter.
This isn’t a blog, so I won’t go into too much detail, but suffice it to say that I did not manage to get a new job. I’m currently sheltering in place in New York, without health insurance. So just… not ideal.
On the plus side, I’m in good health, mentally and physically, and having already lost my art team last year, the comic costs me nothing to produce, aside from labor. As long as I’m stuck at home, I’ve got plenty of time to learn how to draw and color.
I did manage to get on unemployment insurance, so my finances are stabilized while I continue to look for short-term and long-term gigs. I will not starve. As always, the best way to support the comic is by voting for it on TWP, which helps it find an audience.
